Now that I have chosen a particular style for the pattern, I am working on drafting the pattern pieces. I have a very large roll of blank paper that gives me flexibility for size & it is really nice to work on a generous surface when drafting...
I use basic tools in drawing - pencil, eraser (a must), ruler & a french curve.
As you can see from the photo, my table has seen better days. It is my all-purpose table dedicated to working with the messy stuff like glues, paints & such.
Once I have done all the measuring, drawn it out, made any necessary adjustments & cut out all the pieces, I simply roll the excess paper back onto the roll. The roll is quite heavy so it has a permanent spot at the back of the table against the wall - ready for next time.
